Badu Islands gentleman artist is Iona Gaidan.

A quiet and thoughtful carver, Iona Senior (as he is respectively known) works from both his home and the Art Centre drawing from his years of experience as a diver on the islands, and from living and working around luggers and the ocean.

Ionas work includes life sized, intricately carved and painted crayfish and diving equipment.
