My Painting Azam is inspired because it is one of my favourite eating fish and is abundant up here in the Torres Strait waters.

We catch the fish using hand held fishing lines or we spear them with one iron spear fish, we make the spears out of bamboo and are locally made by us.

The Azam as a painful sting when its fins spikes prick you and have to pee on the affected area to stop its pain. It is good eating when cooked on steady coals on grill cause it has alot of meat.
