"Dhangalal"(dugongs) 2025

This new artwork of mine is my new collagraph print called " Dhangalal"(dugongs) The dugongs are inbundance here in the Torres Strait waters and around our home island waters of Badu. The dugongs in this print I try to get the inks show the natural colours of it 

The dugongs colours changes when in the sea from dark grey to brown and light grey. I also try to get the sea colours with the inks because of the different depths of waters where the dugongs are found in.
