This new print of mine is titled Kuniyatidi (returning) is based on the Tupmul (Porcupine Ray) that returns back to deep when the monsoon season ends. During this season the thunder spooks them from the deep and makes them swim up to the shallows waters.

In the image I try to capture this event where the Tupmul is resting on the shallow waters facing straight forward then starting to turn to desend back into the deeper waters where you see the Tupmul laying in the centre of the image facing the opposite direction resting, which represent that its back in the deeper waters. The Tupmul is one of Our Peoples Totems and my wife is a Tupmul Totem person.
