My print ‘Kuyku Mabaygal’ is based on our Torres Straits Islands Leaders past and present.

Our today leaders are very advocate and vocal in our everyday concerns whether there being in an Native Title Directorship or Local Government, they are represented by the half face with the half head dress in my print.

Our Leaders, I believe have the same fighting spirit in the passed down form our ancestors who were warriors and a represented in my print by the half skull.
