Waitoa A59

My print 'Waitoa' is one of a couple of luggers my Late Father Mr Maia Au worked on as a pearl diver. The pearl lugger was skipped by the Late Mr Tamwoy Nona of Badu Island. 'Waitoa' was one of many luggers skipped by our Badu forefathers who worked for pearl shells, trochus and crayfish.

I'm proud of our fishery history that taught us as young divers, the importance of work ethics, which can provide & support families to have food our tables.
