Our monsoon season is called Kukiyaw Thonar. Squids gather in creeks to feed on small fishes. Many time I’ve fished for squids along the northern beaches of Badhu Island.

Sometimes the squids are beautiful to watch as they change into transparent colours as they disguise in the mangroves
